In the joy and power of the Holy Ghost, we leave the comfort of our complacency and enter into the Second Advent. As the First Advent of the arrival of the Divinity of God in the Person of Jesus Christ in the womb of Mary is fulfilled, then too in the Second Advent, the Divinity of God in the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, that is Christ, comes into the person of man, uniting the Divinity of God with the humanity of man, through the power of the Holy Ghost, in Holy Eucharist.
The requirement for partaking in the Second Advent is the belief and practice of the Seven Sacraments of the Church.
Like the First Advent, the Second Advent arrives in quietness and hiddenness, for “The Kingdom of God comes not with observation” (Lk 17:20). The completion of the Second Advent in individuals is being ‘Born Again’ and this ‘born again’ person is the new creation – Eucharistic man.
Jesus Eucharist is the Tree of Life (Apoc 2:7). He is the Way, and the Truth, and the Life, and no man comes to the Father, but by Him (Jn 14:6). The ‘Tree of Life’ is protected from the very beginning, and we see that the Lord God “placed before the Paradise of Pleasure, Cherubims, and a flaming sword, turning every way, to keep the way of the Tree of Life” (Gn 3:24).
Jesus gave His life for our salvation on the tree of the Cross, telling us that: “He that eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has everlasting life, and I will raise him up in the last day…He that eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood abides in Me, and I in him” (Jn 6:55,57).
Jesus gave us His Word as to His Flesh and Blood. He gave us His Word that He is the Tree and we the branches, saying: “I am the Vine, you the branches. He that abides in Me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing” ( Jn 15:5).
The Seven Sacraments protect the way to the Tree of Life. It is only through the Seven Sacraments that one can receive Jesus in Holy Communion, and thus come into Eucharistic union in Him being born again – perfect man – Eucharistic man.
Eucharistic man is the new Israel, that is, the people of God.
